A group of Year 5 children from St. Mary’s RC Primary School in Eccles took part in two sessions of Indian Classical Dance in the main gym this week.

The children were introduced to the Bharatnatyam dance tradition by dancer and choreographer Dr Swati Raut and her assistant Sheetal Maru. The event was part of a Manchester and Salford Creative Partnerships project.
