Step back to 1911 at our “Quaker Girl Bazaar” on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September, 12 – 4pm.The title comes from the popular musical of the time. “The Quaker Girl” The original event included stalls, competitions and entertainment. We have a special exhibition of the club’s archive photographs from the Edwardian period. Ordsall Community Arts are presenting an Edwardian entertainment by ‘Pif Paf’ including extinct animals that once roamed the streets of Salford!

It is part of a 6 month Local Heritage Initiative Project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund aimed at restoring and preserving the clubs unique archive and of making more people aware of their family connections through the club’s 15000 membership records that stretch back to 1903.
