We started work last week to make the roof of the concert hall and boxing gym watertight, using some of the £250,000 that we have raised as part of our £1,000,000 appeal.

Unfortunately thieves got there before us and overnight they removed 2 long channels of lead from both sides of the main gym roof. Coupled with the weather last week, this was a catastrophe. We now have a double bill to pay, first for the clear up and then for the security which we now need for the next month while the roof is being restored.
