Kids get Cooking

Local group Kidzwidreams have been in the kitchen recently working with local Super Chef Ray Jones. 20 young people are learning how to cook healthy affordable meals. A DVD of the project will be given to the young people to take home and teach their families how to cook the recipes. The scheme was funded by Key 103s Cash for Kids and Salford Council’s Ordsall and Langworthy Community Committee.

Fans ebay auction for Salford Lads’ Club

Smiths fans have put 4 items on ebay to raise funds for the club. There are 2 framed original Smiths photos by Stephen Wright and a couple of weird and wonderful Morrissey  figures - one knitted and one modelled in clay.
