baking a cake, Wai Yiu Chinese Women Society at Salford Lads ClubThe Wai Yiu Chinese Women’s Society from Manchester were in the club this week, creating a traditional English high tea in our Edwardian surroundings. The group did some baking in the kitchen, then served up a wonderful display of sandwiches, Victoria Sponge Cakes and English tea. The whole event was documented and will be part of an arts project that opens at Manchester City Art Gallery next year.
