Salford Lads Club was established in 1903 as a purpose built club for working lads. The club has continued to provide this facility for more than 100 years and is now considered to be the ‘finest example of a pre First World War club surviving and operating today’ The club is now open to girls and boys

Opening Times

The Lads Club opens on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7pm – 9pm for football,  basketball, badminton, volleyball, table-tennis,  snooker , pool and computer games.

The Girls Club is on Tuesday eveni ngs from 7-9 offering dance, netball, volleyball,  badminton, pool,  and computer games.

Junior Boxing for both boys and girls  takes place  Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. 5.30pm -6.30pm ages 10 -17 years

Adult Boxing for men and women  18 and over takes place Wednesday 6.30- 8.30 pm, Friday 6.30- 8.00 and Sunday morning 11.00 – 12.30

Kidzwidreamz is on Monday 5.30 – 6.30 and Tuesday 5.00 – 6.00 for sports, arts, dance and cooking.

We are also open for community meetings, exhibitions and open days. The New Barracks Tenants’ Co-operative use the club on a regular basis.

Kickboxing with the Manchester Cobras is on Mondays and Thurdsays 6.30 – 8.30

Thai Kickboxing also takes place on  Tuesday evening from 7pm for juniors and 8pm for seniors
