Stephen Wright photo shoot to find the new smiths fans.

On Saturday 3rd March, iconic Smiths photographer Stephen Wright will be here for a special photo shoot for Smiths and Morrissey fans. The new pictures will be going towards an exhibition at the Holden Gallery in Manchester, alongside Stephens original smiths pictures from 1985 So if you have the confidence and the style, Morrissey-esque quiffs, tattoos - please come along between 2pm and 5pm.

Girls Pool Winners

The finals of the Greater Manchester Boys & Girls Clubs under 12 and under 14 girls pool competitions took place at the club tonight. Three girls qualified for the regional finals in Preston. Zoe Higham (3rd from L) West End Boys Club won the under 14 final with Cody Meadows (C) Screamin Wheels Club runner up. Shawna Randal (R) Salford Lads and Girls club won the under 12 section. Top of the league in 2012

Our new open age football team which started in September 2011 are currently top of their League. The team are managed jointly by volunteer Mike Murray (L) and club leader Leon Warmington (C) Volunteer Ben Sellick (R) is the secretary. The team have also reached the quarter finals of the Sunday League Cup , so it’s a great start to 2012. The table below shows the top six places.
