They’ve done it again

William Doyle and Dylan Kelly repeated last year’s performance by winning the GMFCYP pool competitions. Dylan won the under 12 section and William moved up the age group to win the under 14 competition. They will both go forward to the Northern Area finals in Preston.

“New kids on the block”

This year the club have started a new senior football team, for the first time since the 1970s. They play in the 4th division of the Eccles and District Sunday league and have won both their opening games. The team is managed by club leader Leon Warmington and assistant Mike Murray. Hybrid boxing

Two of the young combat sports groups at the club came together this week to test out their shared skills by sparing together. Club leader Leon who trains the junior ABA boxers at the club and Terry Marshall who coaches the Thai kickboxers were on hand to supervise this new event which will help both groups.
