Niall sets off for the Himalayas

Salford Lads’ Club volunteer, Niall Armsden sets off this week to the Indian Himalayas as one of only 2 young people in the North West selected to take part in an expedition organised the BSES, British Schools Exploration Society. Niall is an experienced camper, having taken part in 8 camping trips with Salford Lads club since he joined at the age of 10. 9 Salford Lads and Girls reach finals

Greater Manchester table tennis finalists Niall Armsden won the Greater Manchester Federation under19 table tennis competition last week.  Club member Robert Payne also reached the final of the under 14 competition. Greater Manchester Snooker champs

Club members travelled to Stockport Lads’ Club this week to take part  in the Greater Manchester Federation under 14 Snooker Competition.  We came away with both winner and runner up prizes. Dylan Whitehead (left)  and Barry Britton (right) will now go through as regional winners to the Northern Final later in the season.
