The club had a busy weekend with volunteers taking a group of lads to Thirsk in North Yorkshire on Saturday to take part in Angling Day provided by the National Federation of Anglers. The event involved young people from the North of England and was organised by Clubs for Young People.

On Sunday volunteers took our under 14 five a side football team to take part a special “Centenary Legends Football Match” held at Sportcity in Manchester. They were invited as winners of last years GMFCYP competition.
