We thought an evening of rowing would involve wearing life jackets and a trip down to the ship canal but no -the rowing event organised by the GMFCYP took place in the gym.

Plenty of technical wizardry was at hand to enable young people to learn the skills of rowing and to experience the thrill of a race.
