Last night the club hosted 2 plays about hard-hitting issues for local communities. The event which was organised by Ordsall Community Arts brought in an audience of over 40 local people to the senior games room.

‘Weekend Away’ was devised and written by 8 young people from Ordsall aged between 12 and 18, and inspired by their own experiences.

‘From One Extreme to Another’ was written by GW Theatre company, an Award winning Tameside group,  who performed their play about how destructive extreme views can be to families and small communities.
