Boxing film highlights aim to end racism in a generation

Riffat Ahmed’s film CLENCH premiered last week. The film is about a mixed race Asian teenage girl who takes part in a boxing course run by a black boxing coach. The film explores the girls own experience of racism and also her own preconceptions of other people and places. Adam Crosby one of the boxers at the club took part in the film which was shot on location here and Old Trafford.

It was commissioned by the Runnymede Trust to highlight their project Generation3.
