100 photographs of Salford Lads Club Camps on display

We are open this weekend to show a new permanent display of 100 framed pictures of the annual Salford Lads’ Club camps from 1904 – 2011.This is part of a Heritage Lottery Funded project to celebrate the clubs camping history.

Also a collection of short digital films produced as the result of a year-long collaboration between Salford Lads Club and Goldsmiths College, University of London.

I came to the club on Saturday. What a fantastic time I had. My thanks go to Leon, Leslie, Brian, Bill and Luke for making me so welcome. So many memories both old and now new.
