The first view visitors have of the club is of the bright green dome, or cupola, visible from Regent Road. The view from the top is spectacular with almost uninterrupted views across the city. The structure of the cupola housed the original ventilation system for the building and along with the chimney stacks and ornate terracotta blocks are all part of the original design of the building from 1903. The view from the top early this morning shows the rapidly changing skyline of Manchester and Salford with Media City visible as well as the tower of St Ignatius Church. Looking towards Manchester is the new set of tower blocks known as Deansgate Square with Beetham Tower just visible on the left.
