Coast to Coast Bike Ride for Salford Lads’ Club

Architect and music fan John Edmondson from Salford recently returned from a solo coast to coast bike ride from Morecambe to Bridlington, raising £279 for the club.

He completed the170 mile ride in two days. John describes the first day as “charming” 62 miles with a steep climb from Settle to Brimham Rocks! The second day was “miserable”, it included heavy rain, strong winds and 2 punctures, he finished with plastic bags wrapped round his feet to keep out the driving rain. Fantastic fundraising.
