Mike Joyce and Paul Lake talk music and football

We have a great event at the club on Friday 3rd February with Smiths drummer Mike Joyce and Man City star Paul Lake talking about Music and Football. It should be another fascinating evening in the concert hall following on from talks with Tim Burgess in July and Peter Hook in October.
Mike is currently helping our fundraising with a T shirt we designed using his original photo of Morrissey. We have already sold £10,000 of the T shirts and the profits from the sales are going towards a visit to New York at Easter for young people at the club. The shirts are also available on our shop page.
Tickets for the event are available from

Manc Icons Model our new T shirt

Our new fundraising t shirt features an orignal photo of Morrissey by Mike Joyce. Mike offered to help our fundraising and between us we have come up with this great new T shirt to raise funds for a second USA trip for young people at the club, and future activities for young people. The T shirt is in a classic 80s yellow, is available on our shop page. People can also buy them at the club from Saturday 22nd October. Aflecks in Manchester are also supporting our fundraising and the shirt will be available from our popup shop at their famous indie store on Oldham Street all next week. Thanks to Manc icons Chris Eccelston, Maxine Peak, John Thomson, Mark Radcliffe and Mike Joyce for being our “models” joining in the fun and supporting the club.
