First view of SLC 1939 Camp in Colour

The entrance hall was transformed yesterday with filming for a series called “Thirties in Colour” with Brian and Leslie viewing and talking about the 1939 SLC camp film. Amazing to see this b/w footage in colour for the first time, the series will be shown on Channel 5.

International Youth Day at the club

Summer football tournament for under 12s

Our under 12 footballers are taking part in a 5 week summer football tournament in Manchester. Yesterday they played against Astley and won an exciting game 4-3. Girls Club ready for the Mad Hatters Parade

The girls club have been working with Ordsall Community Arts for the past 3 weeks creating some weird and wonderful hats. The group have designed and then made the hats from cardboard and fabric. They will be on show during the Salford Mad Hatters Parade which takes place at Victoria Park Swinton on June 8th.
