Boxers raise £10,000 for charity
Box office, contenders trained by Dave Connell and Russ Arrowsmith and organised by George Blagden have held yet another successful charity event, raising over £10,000 for the Break Through Breast Cancer Charity.They have been running adult boxing sessions at the club since 2007 and have raised over £100,000 for different charities.

Our under 12 footballers ( pictured in Yellow Tops) won the Greater Manchester Boys & Girls Clubs final last Saturday beating West End Boys Club in the final. They now progress through to the North West Finals.

“Kidz out for summer”
The kidzwidreams club had a couple of special events this week, before the summer holidays. Parents came along to see their children awarded prizes and certificates. The club starts again in the autumn after the school holidays.

90 young people from Salford took part in a circus skills workshop in the main gym today led by artists from Circus Sensible. This was part of the National Citizenship Service programme organised by the Salford Foundation. The group had just returned from a residential in the Yorkshire Dales.
