Girls Club ready for the Mad Hatters Parade

The girls club have been working with Ordsall Community Arts for the past 3 weeks creating some weird and wonderful hats. The group have designed and then made the hats from cardboard and fabric. They will be on show during the Salford Mad Hatters Parade which takes place at Victoria Park Swinton on June 8th.

108th Salford Lads Club Camp

“Mad For it” BBC Radio Manchester live broadcast from the club

Visit by Eccles Boxing Club

We had a visit by a group of junior boxers from Eccles Boxing Club tonight to do some sparring with our junior boxers. Its great to make a link with another Boxing Club and we’d like to build on this in the future.

The Netball Party

This week the concert hall has been transformed for the recreation of “ The Netball Party” an annual event that took place between 1919 and 1939. Visitors from Ardoyne Youth Club, Belfast

Tonight we welcomed a group from Ardoyne Youth Club, Belfast. The group of 15 young people and youth leaders are visiting a number of youth projects in the North West. The group had a tour of the club and then joined our lads in boxing, pool and 5 a side football.
