Aberystwyth football team visit the club
Every year the club play football matches at the annual camp, and one of the teams, Bow Street FC from Aberystwyth dropped by to see us. Their weekend tour to Salford takes in games against De la Salle and Moorside under 12s.

“Kidz out for summer”
The kidzwidreams club had a couple of special events this week, before the summer holidays. Parents came along to see their children awarded prizes and certificates. The club starts again in the autumn after the school holidays.

Your Turn Next
90 young people from Salford took part in a circus skills workshop in the main gym today led by artists from Circus Sensible. This was part of the National Citizenship Service programme organised by the Salford Foundation. The group had just returned from a residential in the Yorkshire Dales.

Girls Club at the theatre
A group from the girls club visited the Lowry recently to see “A Taste of Honey” by Shelagh Delaney. Salford born Shelagh Delaney wrote the play when she was only 19!

Salford Lads’ Aim High

16 young people, club leader Leon and volunteer staff from the club spent an evening at the BMX track at the National Cycling Centre in East Manchester last night, one of a series of trips funded through our recent BBC Children In Need Award.
