Culture Show last week; Shameless and The Sun this week!
Last week Salford Lads’ Club featured prominently in a BBC2 ‘Culture Show’ special about The Smiths. Billiards Room 1920s style
Manchester based fashion Photographer Rachel Liggett returned to the club after her first photoshoot here in 2008; along with stylist Laura Sellers, makeup artist Sarah Morten and models Stephanie Slater and Henry Smith. MC Madrush in the gym
This is not football! Street dance troupe Ant Pharm, MC Madrush and MC Skittles lit up the main gym recently to launch the DARE fund. Grants of up to £500 are on offer to help local 16 to 24 years with training, education, voluntary work or employment. The fund is from Salford housing provider Salix homes.
