Smiths Weekend
Our famous front doorway and the Smiths room feature in two BBC programmes about The Smiths this weekend. Tomorrow 6 music’s Liz Kershaw accompanies Craig Gill on a Smiths Tour and on Sunday Tim Samuels chats to Stuart Maconie as part of a BBC 2 Culture Show special.

Open Day Saturday 23rd March 11am till 4pm
Johnny Marr plays 2 Manchester gigs at the Ritz next weekend. We will be open to welcome music fans to visit the club and smiths room from 11am -4pm. T shirts, postcards and refreshments will be available. If you can, please let us know you are coming on our Facebook page.

Happy New Year from the Smiths Room
It was a Happy New Year for our first visitors in 2013. Music fans Nino and Debora from Italy, were spotted outside in the semi darkness and were thrilled to be invited inside to be photographed next to Morrissey and Bez.

Freddie Flintoff, cricketer, boxer and Moz fan

Aerial challenge for lads and girls
A group of 18 lads, girls and adult volunteers had an exciting evening at Challenge for Change in Trafford Park. Our team were put through a series of tasks including bridge building, climbing and traversing aerial walkways. Putting up tents at camp will be a doddle after this!
